During her study, Gitta Kleijn worked as a research-asssistent at the department of clinical psychology at VU University. After graduating her study Clinical Psychology in 2011, she continued to work here as a junior researcher. For her PHD-project, she is coordinating the Life Review therapy. The goal of this project is to assess the effect of the intervention “Dear memories” on quality of life, depressed mood and ego integrity in patients with cancer. Also, the effect of the intervention on patients’ partner will be assessed. Gitta will work on the Spiritual Autobiografy study as well. This research assesses what the effect is when patients with cancer write a spiritual autobiography.
