Nienke Hooghiemstra, MSc
Human movement scientist
In July 2018, Nienke Hooghiemstra started as research assistant at the VU University at the department of Clinical Psychology. She will develop a melanoma module for Oncokompas , an eHealth self-management application with practical information, insights, support and advise about living with and after cancer. Besides that she will assist Anouk Schuit with her RCT about the efficacy of Oncokompas for palliative patients and she will assist Karen Holtmaat with the project ICT4PAL. During this project an mLearning module will be developed about palliative care for students, ‘LearnPAL’.
Nienke obtained her bachelor’s degree in Sports and Health at the Hanzehogeschool Groningen and her master’s degree in Human Movement Sciences at Maastricht University.
