Valesca van Zwieten has been working as junior researcher since May 2019 on various projects, including the evaluation of Oncokompas. The objective of this evaluation is to gain a better understanding of how patients and caregivers think about self-management in the treatment and aftercare of head and neck cancer, how Oncokompas could support this care and if it could be embedded in regular care.
In addition, Valesca has been appointed as project leader of the Citrien2 eHealth project. This project aims to make healthcare better, more personal and more cost effective with the use of eHealth applications. University medical centers (umc’s) work closely together in this project on behalf of the Ministry of VWS.
Valesca received her bachelor Health & Life Science and master Management in Healthcare at the VU University in Amsterdam
